The giant ficus of Giardino Garibaldi
A Ficus macrophylla planted in 1864: about 30 m tall, with a canopy about 50 m wide and aerial roots that have become extra trunks. Italy's Accademia dei Georgofili calls it the largest tree in Europe. On weekend mornings the antiques market spreads out around it.
